Volume Analysis in TrAIde
Volume confirms price movement conviction and identifies market traps.
Volume Status: Conviction Meter
TrAIde tracks three volume states:
# 🟢 Surging (Bullish)
# 🟡 Normal
# 🔴 Drying Up (Weak Conviction)
Volume in the TrAIde Score
While RSI (33%), MACD (33%), and Kalman (33%) drive the core signal: - **High volume on RSI extremes**: Validates the move (signal strengthened) - **Low volume on price moves**: Signals trapped traders (signal weakened)
High volume + low RSI = real capitulation (strong BUY). Low volume + high RSI = distribution trap (strong SELL).
Volume Safety Check
Before taking a position on a TrAIde signal: 1. Check the Volume Status 2. If "Drying Up" + extreme score: Wait for volume to revive 3. If "Surging" + extreme score: High conviction entry
